GradeReach Olympiad - 2026
Our Achievers
Exclusive Interview with Deepika Kapoor:
GR: How do you feel after scoring 99 marks in all three Commerce subjects?
Deepika:
I feel extremely happy and satisfied with my result. Scoring 99 marks in Accounts, Business Studies, and Economics each, was the result of regular hard work and discipline throughout the year. It is a proud moment for my family, teachers, and me. This achievement has motivated me to work even harder in the future. I believe consistency and self-confidence played a major role in my success.
GR: How did winning the GradeReach Olympiad help you in your studies?
Deepika:
Winning the GradeReach Olympiad improved my confidence and strengthened my concepts. The Olympiad questions required analytical thinking and deep understanding, which helped me prepare better for board exams. It also improved my time management and problem-solving skills. The experience taught me how to study smartly and remain calm under pressure. Overall, it played a very positive role in my academic journey.
GR: What was your daily study routine during Class 12?
Deepika:
I followed a disciplined and balanced study routine every day. After school, I revised whatever was taught in class and practiced important questions regularly. I divided time properly among all subjects and focused more on concept clarity rather than memorization. I also solved sample papers and previous year questions regularly. Along with studies, I made sure to take proper rest and avoid unnecessary distractions.
GR: Why do you believe self-study is important for students?
Deepika:
I believe self-study is the foundation of real learning and success. Teachers guide us, but students understand concepts deeply only when they study independently. Self-study improves concentration, confidence, and discipline. It also helps students identify their strengths and weak areas. Regular self-study develops responsibility and makes students more confident during examinations.
GR: Whom do you credit most for your success?
Deepika:
I give full credit for my success to my parents and teachers, whose encouragement and support always motivated me to work hard. My parents stood by me throughout my preparation and created a positive and disciplined environment at home. I am also deeply thankful to my subject teachers Mr. Amit Sachdeva (Accounts), Ms. Shabana (Business Studies), and Ms. Nikita Singh (Economics) for their guidance, motivation, and constant support. They explained every concept clearly and always encouraged me to give my best. Their blessings and trust played a very important role in my achievement.
GR: Which subject do you enjoy the most in Commerce and why?
Deepika:
I enjoy Accounts the most because it is logical, practical, and interesting. Solving accounting questions gives me confidence and satisfaction. I also enjoy Economics because it helps us understand real-life financial and economic situations. Business Studies is equally interesting as it teaches management and leadership skills. Overall, I find the Commerce stream very practical and career-oriented.
GR: How did you manage stress during board examinations?
Deepika:
I managed stress by staying disciplined and maintaining a positive mindset. Regular preparation reduced my fear before exams and gave me confidence. Whenever I felt stressed, I took short breaks and spent time with my family. I avoided unnecessary comparison with other students and focused only on my own preparation. Proper sleep and revision also helped me stay calm during exams.
GR: What are your future career goals?
Deepika:
My main goal is to become a Chartered Accountant because I have a strong interest in finance and accounting. I also wish to prepare for Civil Services in the future and serve the country. Both careers inspire me because they require dedication, responsibility, and knowledge. For now, my focus is on continuing my studies sincerely. I want to keep learning and improving every day.
GR: What advice would you give to students preparing for board exams?
Deepika:
I would advise students to stay consistent and avoid last-minute pressure. They should focus on understanding concepts instead of memorizing blindly. Regular revision, practice papers, and time management are very important for good performance. Students should also avoid distractions and believe in their abilities. Hard work and discipline always bring positive results.
GR: What message would you like to give to young students?
Deepika:
I would like to tell students to believe in themselves and never lose confidence. Success comes through patience, dedication, and sincere effort. Students should respect their parents and teachers and remain focused on their goals. Failures should never discourage them because they teach valuable lessons. If you work honestly and consistently, success will definitely come your way.
